have a caught something every time I've used this lure. I've caught a few bass and some carp with this. the hooks are VERY sharp.... which is how i caught the carp. it snagged on his back as i was reeling in.as others have said not good in heavy vegetation. it does not swim through weeds good. very nice lure though. i have 2 and plan to buy more of different colors as well (currently using red crawdad and shad).

Works very good on any rate of retrieve, hook sets are easy, all size pike have gone for this but seem to get more of the moderate sized ones with the number 2. Already order couple sizes bigger, one draw back is on windy days it seems to get fouled up on long casts, also not good for weedy lakes .A nice go to lure.

I haven't used this item yet, but I have lent it to my dad for him to go fishing, and he loved the fis he caught with it. Just an awesome product he told me.
